Revised Obsidian Dataview Substring Queries in Monthly Notes

A couple of weeks ago, I posted about using Obsidian dataview queries to populate sections of my monthly notes. As I found out today, my queries were wrong.

Long Form Posting in a Microblogging Environment

Over the years, I have hopped from publishing platform to platform in search of the best solution for my meager blogging needs. After spending time in Movable Type, Typepad, Blogger, Ghost, and Wordpress, I’m now using micro.blog for my personal electronic publishing needs.

Dataview Queries in Automated Notes

I have had some people ask me about the obsidian dataview queries I use in my weekly and monthly notes to accumulate section entries, so I thought I would take a minute to address what I have been doing to make things work the way I want. Before I go into the specifics, note that I have cobbled these queries together from what others have done, and I am sure there are better and more efficient queries to accomplish the same goals. Obsidian Automated Review Notes

First!

So…

This is the latest incarnation of my website. It is hosted by micro.blog and it has some nifty functionality. One of the main things I like about the setup is that I can post both pages and posts from #obsidian, which is insanely helpful. micro.blog is also very fast which is great to see.

I’ll post updates as the #site progresses. I am really looking forward to seeing what I can do with this setup.
